“Wa idh ta’adhdhana rabbukum la’in shakartum la’azeedannakum, wa la’in kafartum inna ‘adhaabee lashadeedun.”

Surah Ibrahim Ayat 7 in Urdu

“اور جب تمہارا رب تم سے فرمان دے کہ اگر تم شکر کرو تو میں تمہیں زیادہ دوں گا اور اگر تم کافر بن جاؤ تو میرا عذاب بہت سخت ہے۔”

This verse from Surah Ibrahim (14:7) is a reminder from Allah (SWT) to humanity about the importance of gratitude and its rewards, as well as the consequences of ingratitude.

Allah (SWT) says that if we are grateful to Him for the blessings that He has bestowed upon us, He will surely increase those blessings for us. Gratitude is an essential aspect of our faith and a means to attain more blessings and favors from Allah (SWT).

On the other hand, if we are ungrateful and deny the blessings of Allah (SWT), then we risk facing His severe punishment. This is a warning from Allah (SWT) to remind us of the importance of recognizing and being grateful for the blessings that we have, as well as the consequences of being ungrateful.

In summary, this verse teaches us to be thankful to Allah (SWT) for His blessings, and to acknowledge that gratitude leads to more blessings and favors from Him, while ingratitude invites punishment.
