Surah al Imran Ayat 8
Surah al Imran Ayat 8 English Translation
“Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us mercy from Your presence. Indeed, You are the Bestower.”
Surah Al Imran
Surah Al Imran, also known as “The Family of Imran,” is the 3rd chapter of the Quran and contains 200 verses. Ayat, 8 of this chapter in Rumi translation, is:
“And of mankind are some who say, ‘We believe in Allah and the last day,’ but they are not believers.”
This verse emphasizes that mere verbal affirmation of belief in God and the Day of Judgment is not enough to be considered a true believer in Islam. One must also live according to Islam’s principles and teachings, which require action and effort.
